Welcome to Madison Energy, LLC!
Madison Energy, LLC, formerly known as State Line Elevator established in the 1930’s, is a grain elevator located in Madison, MN. Madison, MN is located 15 miles from the South Dakota boarder and is the site of the Little Minnesota State Fair which is held the weekend following Labor Day and are also known nationally as the “Lou T Fisk Capital of USA”. ME, which employs five full-time employees, handles between 7 to 9 million bushels a year of corn, beans, and wheat and we are equipped with 110 car shuttle loading facility as well. ME serves as a corn procurement arm for it’s parent company, Glacial Lakes Energy, LLC. GLE is an ethanol production facility located in Watertown, SD. GLE purchased ME from CHS in December of 2006. GLE also has secured a 92 acre site approximately one mile east of Madison, MN along Hwy 40 as a potential site for another ethanol production facility.
